As two weary travelers arriving from Santiago,
Miguel and Silvia met us with a friendly smile and the
hospitality of a premium hotel. After settling in Silvia
served us warm lasagna and fresh salad while we took
in the breathtaking view offered by the high elevation
of this wonderful place.
Our first impressions were reflective of all that this
B&B has to offer. The location is perfect for exploring
Vina or Valpo. There are buses and colectivos(shared
taxis) constantly driving by, allowing you to venture
into the heart of either destination.
Beyond the location the rooms are clean and well kept,
the pool is pleasant for the warm Chilean afternoon
sun, and the other guests provide an array of interesting,
adventurous stories.
We highly recommend this place for someone with a few
days to enjoy these costal cities.

Miguel is a wonderful host. Helping him is Silvia
and she is also wonderful.
The view is beautiful; Vina is beautiful
The pool, decks and the yard really enhance the experience
here.
We came for 3 days but it is so nice to be here we stayed
5 nights… And yes of course we would definitely come
back to “My Fathers house”

Enjoyed our 4night stay @ my Father’s
House, beautiful view from living and guest rooms. Very
friendly staff-owner & Sylvia. Nice pool & yard.
Quiet & very relaxing & convenient short bus
side to town. The view of the city & the ocean was
memorable. Highly recommended.

My first time in Chile I decided to come and
stay at “My Father’s House”. It is a
very beautiful view of the city and friendly caring
staff.
It is nice because it makes me feel at home and I got
to meet lots of people from other places. Helpful with
tours and buses. It is nice that the internet is available
for personal use. The rooms are nice size; I enjoyed
it and would recommend to people visiting Chile.

This is truly my Father’s House ‘o Miguel
makes you feel right at home. He is warm and caring;
the father figure you’d never had but always wanted
nice, fellow energy and excellent staff. Did I mention
the view?!

Our stay at ‘My Father’s House”
was comfortable and relaxing. Miguel and Sylvia were excellent
hosts to us and our young family (Sophia 5 Daniel 3 months)
Sophia loves the food and the pool, and enjoyed running
with Jose Miguel, Miguel’s 5 year old son.
We came for 3 days, but decided to stay an extra day.
We had an excellent time and would highly recommend this
B&B.

This is a place where the heart meets soul. At
the top of Vina there is a house…My fathers House
& Miguel. The climb up the stairs is steep, but once
you enter ….
Flhh! The view is spectacular. The house is a home full
of charm & love & kindness & heart…
Sylvia & Miguel become your family or vice versa…
one is captivated by their self less care of each person
staying here….
We shared our stay with people from all over the world.
We all became our father’s children as tended to
us daily with little nothings not common at other B&B.
Access to internet and open kitchen occasional lunches
& beer by the pool side makes one feel at home.
As we depart we leave with heavy hearts.The spectacular
view of the ocean & the city will stay with me forever.
I hope to return some day soon. My wish is that all will
encounter the beauty of this place as I have. My Fathers
House in Vina del Mar!!! |
